The British Pharmacopoeia Laboratory
The Laboratory supports the work of the British Pharmacopoeia Commission (BPC) in the establishment of monographs for medicinal products available in the UK. The Laboratory carries out practical assessments of analytical methods prior to inclusion in monographs and provides scientific advice to the BPC's advisory groups.
The Laboratory is also responsible for procurement, establishment and maintenance of British Pharmacopoeia Chemical Reference Substances (BPCRS) to support the monographs of the BP.
